Grants and Rebates

The following LiveSmart BC grants are available on new heating systems:

95%+ efficient variable speed furnace: $600 grant*

Energy Star Heat Pump with 94%+ variable speed furnace: $1600 grant*

Energy Star Heat Pump without new furnace: $1100 grant

90%+ efficient Boiler: $600 grant*

EF 0.82+ tankless water heater: $200 grant

EF 0.90+ tankless water heater: $300 grant

Heat recovery ventilator: $800 grant


**** To qualify for LiveSmart BC rebates you must complete your installation and your pre- and post- retrofit audits before March 31st ****

Cost of inspection from Mr. Home Inspector: $300 for both the initial energy assessment and the post-renovation visit.

An energy advisor will visit your home and inform you off how much you can reduce your energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions by performing certain improvements.

Amounts and conditions are subject to change without notice.

*The LiveSmart BC grant amounts listed include an additional $100 for an installation by a TECA/HVCI certified installer. This additional $100 payment may not be available to some homeowners who will require duct system modifications to receive the entire amount.
